Congratulations to Sarah Dubin, the 2023 ISPE Women in Pharma® Scholarship Recipient
ISPE's Women in Pharma® Scholarship aims to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the pharmaceutical industry by supporting women and other marginalized groups pursuing education and careers in this dynamic field. Recent recipient Sarah Dubin, currently pursuing both a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and a Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs (MRA) at the University of Georgia’s College of Pharmacy, expressed gratitude for the scholarship's support, emphasizing her aspirations to contribute significantly to the pharmaceutical sector.
“I am so grateful for the opportunity this scholarship has given me to continue my education. I plan on using the Women in Pharma Scholarship to fund my academic career throughout the summer months, where I’ll continue my studies in Regulatory Affairs and working towards my Doctor of Pharmacy degree. I hope to gain a fellowship at the end of my academic journey, allowing me to further explore the many facets of the pharmaceutical industry.” – Sarah Dubin, 2023 ISPE Women in Pharma Scholarship Recipient
While completing her degrees, Sarah works as a pharmacy intern at Wellstar MCG. In this position, she facilitates the flow of hospital-aiding pharmacists in filling orders, delivering medications, and fulfilling medical histories. In the short term, Sarah hopes to excel academically and learn more about career opportunities while staying involved in the organizations and gaining more leadership positions. After pharmacy school, she hopes to gain a fellowship at a pharmaceutical industry company to explore the growing field further. She is excited about her future career in the pharmaceutical field and her future endeavors.
