The unprecedented pace and scale of disruption—new business models like personalized medicine, and new product modalities such as cell and gene therapy—is significantly impacting operations across the pharmaceutical industry. Without intervention, the safe and continuous supplies of quality medicines for patients is in jeopardy. The Foundation is working to ensure that recent graduates entering the industry, and our current workforce, have access to cutting-edge technical knowledge.
To meet this challenge, the ISPE Foundation awards multiple grants to support and educate those entering and currently working in the industry. Both students and recent graduates receive financial support to further their professional development and contribute to building our industry’s future workforce.
Over the past three years, the ISPE Foundation has received and supported grant requests from our Student and Recent Graduate members. The intent of these grants is to contribute to building the workforce of the future by providing opportunities for students and recent graduates to attend conferences, training, and hackathons.
The ISPE Foundation established the ISPE Foundation Diversity Internship Program in 2021, aimed at providing world-class internship opportunities to groups that are typically underrepresented in the pharmaceutical industry.
